@tejuvenalian Especially when Nika himself changed the caption after someone messaged him about it being offensive... he's literally being more receptive than half of fstwt 😭
It was so loud and chaotic—after all, it’s our first Olympic Champion in 32 years 😅. There were so many posts, congratulations, and even promo codes celebrating the event. A ton of people watched it live in the middle of the night. I stayed up too. It was an indescribable feeling. It’s just a shame that right after, the sports federation started doing what they love most—taking all the credit for themselves."
Oh, figure skating definitely existed before Misha, but unfortunately, it wasn’t well-developed. Thanks to Denis Ten, it truly put Kazakhstan on the map, but we didn’t really have a proper federation back then. Something resembling a functional system only started to emerge about two years ago. The sport is fairly well-known, and many skaters were originally inspired by Denis’s Olympic bronze.
Since Misha’s victory, interest in figure skating is skyrocketing again, and I hope it will keep growing. After Denis Ten's tragic passing and Elizabet Tursynbaeva's retirement, Kazakh figure skating went through a dark print without any bright new stars. But now we have Misha, with his powerful love for figure skating and his country ❤️🩹
