We had Magnus Carlsen for a full day in Hong Kong. We used every hour of it.

The morning opened a room the city rarely sees, 150 names from AI, finance and technology at the Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel, with Magnus and @ysiu of @animocabrands on stage on where the game goes next.

By night it was the whole chess world. We sat Magnus at a board where both players cast spells and opened the @FIDE_chess World Team Championships.

Number 1 is terribly unfair to those who staked at TGE!

I personally lost my Ethernal to a wallet hack 2 days prior to TGE and never got a monthly vest so I am naturally not getting more rewards. Some only staked less than a month ago and they are going to get a share? Unfair!

Will quickly resolve some top-of-mind questions here before the Discord AMA later today at 330pm GMT

1) Queen of Time staking - 10M rewards will be split among everyone who is actively staked in the OG pool. If you are a staker from TGE, you naturally have a much bigger share than the late joiner with their Ethernal drops. Apologies if there was any miscommunications from before.

QoT Staking is a privileged status. It represents OG, loyalty and dedication. Not everyone belongs there - and hence the 5x multiplier in the Checkmate Reign.

2) $CHECK Utility in 2026
- In-game utility (Gambit buy-in, prize pools, skins sales)
- Partner utility (chess/gaming/poker/strategy/ Esports partners)
- New staking/governance utility on a new AI-powered initiative (huge one)
- Governance utility (community voting rights are currently in ideation phase - more to come)

$CHECK will be much bigger than 1 single game token. There are Games/IP/Trading/AI/DeFi partners all in the pipeline to integrate the token. You just need to have conviction to see the vision becomes reality.

3) Kaito Earn - The program got terminated mid-Jan. The original infra was highly reliant on the tracking and distribution on Kaito side. Due to data protection policies, we are not able to collect wallet addresses from Kaito end which resulted in the delays.

We can understand the frustration - but the 1M $CHECK did not disappear. We are still committed to reward it to our top stakers, creators, players, ambassadors.
