I am disgusted with Skid Row. I am disgusted that rescues have to race around the clock to clean up the messes made by these monsters. I am disgusted by city officials that know this is going on. It really is time to go with torches and just remove the dogs.

This mentally unwell breeder on 1625 E 14th St has six suffering dogs. One dog’s ear is almost completely chewed off. I need everyone to contact [email protected] and call [phone] and demand that these dogs are removed. This is animal abuse.

I had my own loss yesterday and I was remiss in properly honoring Diamond who was killed by the ACC of NYC yesterday…this sweet beautiful excited girl had to be mourning her human’s death…people she may have been familiar with wouldn’t care for her, so they surrendered her to the house of the unkind where staff decides the fate of a pup who’s grieving over the only human she knew or loved…her everything…her world….I’ve been looking at her picture, dressed up in a costume bestowed by a volunteer, and her mouth’s agape, smiling even, but even though she’s trying to be brave, her eyes are screaming in pain, her suffering will haunt me until I die…

How is it that no one came for this soulful girl, no one saw her pain and wanted to save her? Humanity has lost all compassion, all empathy, everything that once made us “human” is gone, evaporated into stardust….Oh sweet Diamond, we let you down and by that deed, lost out on a special pup who would have made the best companion….

Unfortunately, there will be many who will suffer the same fate as Diamond…and I will trudge on telling their stories….
