A quick reintroduction
I’m Qudus. I work with ecommerce & DTC brands to build email systems that bring customers back, increase repeat sales, and keep revenue steady.
If retention is a priority for you this year, my DMs are open 📩
If you only change one thing in your Klaviyo flows, make it your offers...
-Test % off vs $ off in your welcome flow
- Give past buyers a loyalty offer instead of the welcome discount in your abandoned flows
- Run no offer at all in your first two abandonment emails
- Increase the offer by email 3 rather than repeating it
- Try a mystery discount in your cart abandon
- Put a countdown on your checkout abandon
- Test which product you push in your post-purchase PS
- Use a weird number like $7.14 on your winback credit
Testing offers is where the business-changing results come from, so don’t sleep on them.
Your whole backend compounds off it...
You don’t need to have everything figured out for this week to go well.
Some weeks start messy. That’s okay.
Start where you are, do what you can, and figure out the rest as you go.
Clarity often comes from taking action, not waiting for the perfect plan.
Happy new week. 🤍
🚨 Hiring: Email Marketing Campaign Designer (Remote)
Looking for a talented email marketer with strong DTC e-commerce email design skills.
French-speaking candidates preferred.
Experience with Figma and a strong email design portfolio is important.
Interested? DM me for more details. Feel free to share with someone who might be a good fit.
Better retention doesn’t always start with changing the flow.
Before I touch anything, I check:
→ What happens after someone signs up?
→ Does the welcome flow make sense for them?
→ Has the cart timing been tested?
Small things, but they can reveal bigger retention problems
if you learn marketing engineering, you will never be unemployed again.
you need two things for all of it: claude code and a github account. marketers who know how to use them well and build their own agents will make real money for their companies.
11 steps:
How to Find Clients on Instagram
1. Find Leads
Search industry-specific hashtags on Instagram to find your ideal clients.
2. Warm Up Before You DM
Don't cold DM. Do this first:
- Follow them
- Like 2-3 recent posts
- Leave 1 genuine comment related to their post OR comment "Sent you a DM" on their latest post
3. Outreach Scripts
SCRIPT 1: The Opener (Goal = Get a reply)
> Hey [First Name], would this be the best place to ask a quick question?
OR industry-specific version:
> Hey [First Name], which services do you currently offer? / What are your bestsellers?
Pro Tip: Personalize it
Something like “ Hey [First Name], saw your post about [XYZ], love that you [specific detail about XYZ]. Quick question - would this be the best place to ask you something?”
Wait for them to reply. Do not double text yet.
SCRIPT 2: The Value Drop (After they reply)
Thanks! I actually already built you a free AI assistant based on [Company Name]'s website - it can handle DMs, answer questions about your services, and book people in automatically.
> Would you be open to a quick 2-min look?
4. Follow-Up Script (If they don't reply to Script 1 in 24-48h)
Hey [First Name], noticed it took a while to get back - all good. I thought it would be cool so I went ahead and created you a free AI for your DMs that can [Client-specific outcome - e.g., answer FAQs about your services and auto-book appointments].
I already made it for [Company Name]. Do you have time to try how this works?
5. How to Stand Out & 3x Your Reply Rate
Use the SAME scripts, but deliver them differently:
1. Reply to their Story first: Engage with their story, compliment it, then send the DM. It goes to the top of their inbox.
2. Send a Voice Note: Record a 15-sec voice note instead of text for Script 2. It builds instant trust.
3. Hyper-Personalize: Don't just say "nice post." Say "The tip you shared about [specific topic in their post] was super helpful, especially the part about..."
Let me know if you need the list of hashtags. Perfect for those in AI automation, virtual assistant or social media marketing
