Gift card scam. A thread. My husband, a PE teacher, was gifted a pretty substantial gift card over the holidays and when he went to go use it at the @Nike store the balance was zero. Apparently the gift card was compromised and the funds were stolen before he could use them.
@nikestore@Nike Even though @Nike is are able to access where and when the GC was fraudulently used, they won’t step up and help their customer. Very disappointing. Makes me never want to buy a gift card again, and especially not a @Nike one.
@nikebasketball@Nike Right now the word that describes me best is disappointed since my $500 @Nike gift card was fraudulently used. Even though the gift card and original purchase receipt is in my possession, @Nike has absolved itself of any responsibility, and will not help their customer.
@nikestore@Nike@Nike is absolving itself of any responsibility, and pavilions has not been not helpful thus far. The gift card was in its original packaging, and he tried to use it within a month of receiving it.

You are where the younger version of yourself took you.
You are also responsible for where the older version of yourself will be ten years from now.
Every day, you choose your destiny.
To address the teacher shortage issue, we must address the teacher respect issue in our country. We must stop normalizing providing teachers with inadequate resources to be successful.
No one should call this a ‘teacher shortage’. There are tens of thousands of qualified (and experienced) teachers available, they're just no longer teaching. There’s a shortage of respect, a shortage of proper compensation for teachers. They leave teaching jobs because of this.
