Don’t overlook the value of following up with people … The Battle in your Mind is the hardest one to Win … However, you can help others by closing the Loop … Communicate!!!

Prayer >Being Anxious
Love your kid.
No matter how you differ. Love your kid.
Tell them you do.
Show them you do.
Make sure they know,
even when you don’t love their choices,
even when they don’t share your convictions,
that you love them
and you are there for them.
Right there for them.
I’m amazed at teacher contracts…specifically what little time (prep) is provided for teachers to actually get stuff done.
If teachers ONLY worked contractual hours, 90% of the needed work wouldn’t happen even for the most efficient ones. 🤔
The good stuff is found in the basic moments already around us right now. The good stuff is reserved for those who still have time to notice it. The good stuff is slow, simple, and subtle enough to miss if we aren’t tenderly loving what’s already entrusted to us.
Unrealistic expectations often lead to our greatest frustrations.
That's why the best place for us to look is always Jesus. He is the answer to our every need. He is our one true source of satisfaction.
Prayer sends our worries and limitations straight into God's hands of limitless power, provision and protection.
Cast all of your cares on Him today, sweet friend. He cares for you.
We have a choice. We can use our words to breathe life into another person or we can use our words to suck the life right out of them.
Oh, friends. Let’s choose wisely.
“Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit—you choose.” Proverbs 18:21 (MSG)
To summarize the NBC Poll: A majority of Americans have deep, deep concerns about Biden's physical and mental state; Kamala Harris is the least liked Vice President in the poll's history; and notwithstanding both, Biden/Harris would still beat Trump. All the GOP has to do is avoid Trump, and many of them won't let him go.
God’s ways are sometimes opposite of what we want and expect. But we can absolutely trust that His ways are best.
Let’s remember to consider what God’s purposes are and align our expectations and desires around His.
Let's trust that today's disappointment isn't the end of the story. Let's refuse to insert a period where God intends a comma.
I know it’s not easy. But I truly believe that disappointments often become divine appointments if we will keep our hearts open to that possibility.
When we get to heaven, I think we will be surprised by what actually mattered the most… Seemingly small moments. Little acts of kindness. Simple words of encouragement.
Look for opportunities to remind people of God’s love in even the smallest of moments today.
