@nutmegbygfk I think the a central idea of the piece is that love can make even the most intelligent person lose their mind and it’s so real especially in your early 20s
@CaptainXylan@Cobra00711@Bryce_Estelle I mean there’s also this lol. But even if we don’t account for actual recidivism, probation makes violations incredibly easy
@Cobra00711@Bryce_Estelle 2/ it’s a cycle meant to create violations over and over for people leading relatively normal lives. Parole for 20 years is not a real life. And breaking the rules means ACTUALLY GOING TO PRISON 20 YEARS in most states.
@Cobra00711@Bryce_Estelle A lot of probation violations are not “crimes” in the traditional sense. You have to hold steady employment. If you experience a period of unemployment you could be violated. Unable to pay fines. Violated. Takes an impulsive weekend trip out of town? Prison. Out too late? Jail.
@Cobra00711@Bryce_Estelle If he breaks any of these rules he finishes the 20 year sentence in prison. 2 years in jail sounds truly awful, I’m not denouncing that. But 20 years probation would be a miserable existence. I promise you that. Probation is a scourge on our justice system
@duceMCFC I think a boss shouldnt text an employee so late, but if they are they need to be clear on what they mean. If I receive a text that says this, i would wake up the next day and think it meant tomorrow. If the boss clarified they meant the specific date it would be more clear.
@SkoHarbaugh@greendragonhq@PpollingNumbers That when bass or Raman inevitably dropout he stays at 30 and the other goes to somewhere in the low 50s high 40s. Even more when you get to the real election and undecideds don’t count
Automatic democratic primary win would be promising to investigate DOGE because despite their stated purpose being creating efficiency and cutting the deficit the deficit has ballooned
@ktluv666@firearmedkitty I don’t go here really, just a regular nerd and this popped up on my feed. Technically yes and no. Pretty much interchangeable. But I’ve always heard that Molly is straight mdma and ecstasy has other additives for effect
