Apparently calling an obvious genocide what it is "cheapens antisemitism" but calling some football hooligans losing a fight THEY STARTED a fucking "pogrom" is measured and serious. Absolutely absurd, the entire western journalistic class deserves to lose their jobs.
⚫️ We denounce in the strongest possible terms the killing of our colleague, Hasan Suboh, on the night of 24 October during Israeli military operations in Khan Younis, South Gaza. According to the Ministry of Health, this attack killed at least 33 people, including 14 children.
Aged 41, Hasan had been working with MSF since 2019. He was married and had 7 children. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones, and with our colleagues in Gaza.
This is our eighth colleague killed in Gaza since 7 October 2023, and the second in two weeks. Through its war on Gaza, Israel continues to show a fundamental disregard for civilian lives. This must stop now.
My one caveat is you can sort of do both and reflect and amplify the (good) vibes while never wavering on your demands. Your loyalty is to movements and ideas, not people. ✌️💚
If the first thing you say about trans people is about bathrooms or sports & not about how to make the world safer for these beautiful children of God, you need real help.
Who remembers this. One of the greatest symbols of Putin's tyranny we were told, despicable, all the hallmarks of the authoritarian state. And yet individuals today in the UK who peacefully blocked a motorway have been jailed for more than double this sentence.
the bbc headline doesn’t make it clear but their reporting does: a disabled man was mauled for several minutes at least by an idf attack dog, forcibly separated from his family by soldiers, and left by those soldiers to die of his wounds. not a lonely death, but murder

💬 "Either we end the fossil fuel era, or the fossil fuel era will end us. Just as fifty years ago, when the world used international treaties to defuse the threats posed by nuclear weapons, today the world needs a Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty to phase out fossil fuels and to support dependent economies, workers and communities to move away from oil, gas and coal."

@martheisdenaam als groene meid die pvda ging stemmen uit frustratie met migratie-beleid maar uiteindelijk toch groen kiest voel ik heel seen maar denk ik dat we toch 0.01% van de bevolking zijn hahaha
I wear my keffiyeh with pride every day but do worry that I've entered some sort of Palestine stickers ring where strangers on the street keep handing me more than I can stick so then I hand them to other strangers who then pass them on and
