The Ottawa Police Service, which has admitted to abusing CPIC checks to stalk and harass women, have just been authorized to start using facial recognition software on their bodycams. The Ottawa Police Service Board also gave the Ottawa Police approval to join a shared facial recognition network that will share data with the York, Peel, and Halton police services.
