A car stopped in front of our shelter, and the people took a moving sack out of the trunk.

We immediately realised there was a dog inside. We quickly carried the sack into the shelter because we were afraid that, once we opened it, she might panic, run away and disappear before we could catch her.

So we took her into a safe area inside the shelter and carefully opened the sack there.

Inside was a 9-year-old little old lady, terrified and confused.

From what we understand, her family had passed away, and the heirs decided to put her in a sack and bring her to the shelter.

After nine years of having a home… this is how she was abandoned.

She didn’t deserve to spend her final years like this. 💔🐾

Knife-Wielding Woman Fatally Shot by NYPD After Stabbing Two People in Times Square

NEW YORK, New York — August 31, 2026 — A woman armed with two knives stabbed two people in Times Square Monday afternoon, killing one, before New York City police officers fatally shot her after she advanced toward them, authorities said.

The incident began at about 4:24 p.m. near West 41st Street and Seventh Avenue. NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch identified the woman as Pamela Cisneros, 49, of Queens. Police said she approached a 68-year-old man near the subway and stabbed him in the abdomen. She then moved north and stabbed a 32-year-old woman in the abdomen. The female victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital and later died. The male victim remained hospitalized in stable condition.

Cisneros then continued toward an NYPD substation while carrying the knives. Officers spoke with her for about four minutes and repeatedly ordered her to drop the weapons, according to Tisch. Police said Cisneros refused and threatened officers. Multiple officers deployed Tasers, but they did not stop her. Two officers then fired their service weapons after Cisneros advanced toward them while holding the knives.

Cisneros was struck and transported to Bellevue Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Authorities said Cisneros had a documented history of mental-health-related incidents involving the NYPD in 2018 and 2019.

Jessica Rabe (20), a young South African woman, and Yudistan Pillay (25) vanished on 17 July 2026 from the Van Dyk Park / Dalpark area in Boksburg. After more than six weeks of searching, their bodies were found on 31 August 2026 at the corner of Wildevy Crescent and Mimosa Street.

The community notice describes the remains as severely damaged and already decomposed. Three suspects are in custody.

That is the official wording they chose; “severely damaged and decomposed.” No further public details have been released on the exact injuries, cause of death, or how long the bodies had been left like that.

Private investigators and community search teams (CPI, PCP Investigations, Graphite Security, Ghostline Tactical) kept looking after the usual SAPS delays. Dawnpark SAPS eventually assisted.

This is another pair of young people who walked out of a Gauteng suburb and ended up as a “tragic and gruesome discovery” weeks later. The families are left with whatever was left of their children after the bodies had time to rot.
