Both semi finals have been really good games between really good teams with VAR interrupting both of them like a fart in a lift. Get rid. Total VAR abolition now.
The Arsenal Supporters’ Trust is disappointed by the 8:00pm Monday kick-off for Arsenal vs Burnley.
This timing creates clear difficulties for both sets of supporters, particularly those travelling or relying on public transport, and increases costs and disruption.
As the final home game of the season, it also means the traditional lap of appreciation will not take place until around 10:00pm, making it less accessible for many fans.
We did engage with Arsenal ahead of the most recent broadcast deal, recognising that clubs, including Arsenal, play a role in approving these agreements and asking that it give greater weight to the impact on supporters of games being moved. While we understand the significant financial benefits involved and how they support the club’s growth, we would urge both Arsenal and the Premier League to do more so that scheduling better reflects the needs of match-going supporters.
Nothing shows how much the Premier League doesnt care about fans than moving Burnley to a Monday night. Burnley fans now having to get home by 3am, and 1000s of people having to pay for travel changes because Sky wanted it moved. Nice Sunday afternoon, last home game in the sun to fighting to get there on a monday night.
Consistantly show time and again how they dont care about match going fans.
Clubs in question have no say.
Just Mikel Arteta casually popping in to see @arseblog and @ArsenalVPodcast at their live event tonight to thank the Arsenal fans for their support! Lovely touch 👌
Six years away from the Champions League
Second season in a row in the competition that defines the biggest teams and careers, and reaching semis
If you don't see #Arsenal's progression is because you don't want to
Seven regulars return, 4/5 new starters and back to be one of the best teams in Europe
That's what I see @m8arteta is doing with his team
If that trip by Myles Lewis-Skelly is considered Serious Foul Play then there will be a torrent of red cards every game. I’ve rewatched it 8 times now and it’s a trip and a yellow. Rediculous decision. #AFC#WOLARS
Finally seen a replay. That is an absolute shocker from Michael Oliver. It's just a fraction of a second decision from Lewis-Skelly to stop a counter attack. The type of thing you see time and time again. Yellow card, no-one says another word about it.
Red card is absolutely laughable.
That is the most ludicrous red card decision of our season thus far and we have had some shockers.
You will never see a red card for a challenge like that ever again.
