What THE HELL is that damn update for the Mac App of ChatGPT?!? Literally all my chats and projects gone and only this coding crap available. Had to dig the old version out of my trash. Crappy job, @OpenAI
DO NOT rent from @Avis , they charged me additional money for gas, even though the tank was full, said the fee it to bring it to another station would be 30€, but was 180€ and now me more than a month later are attempting to charge more than €500 for damages I NEVER incurred.

Data from Spain's national grid shows a lost of >10 GW of demand, from ~26GW to ~12GW in a few seconds. Reason unknonw.

Couldn’t even (via official channels) download a paper FROM MY OWN LAB thanks to the ridiculous #paywall@SageJournals has. All of these journals effectively blocking free science should be torn down.
I got total AI vertigo with #NotebookLM - used it today to create a podcast about various fairly complex papers, as well as individual ones about some books and, together with the now true multi-source doc reader it‘s truly going to change the game🤯
Great to see our lab work stimulating debate. Plant-fungal exchange processes are complex, elegant, & still mysterious. We should be open to using all types of tools & frameworks to understand them

Sorry, but you’re confusing effect with cause. We‘re talking about a system that is no longer able to tell threat from non-threat. It‘s not inherent in the system, it‘s because it’s been trained on too much contradictory information.

The idea that subsystems like the immune system but also other organ systems can be subject to Pavlovian Conditioning (including accidental fear conditioning) is absolutely blowing my mind - we really need to stop viewing any sub-CNS system as just dumb machines
If the surviving trees we see in a natural forest are not just the product of „lucky coincidence“ but rather the result of intelligent choices, then it is both amusing and straight up terrifying to think that in restoration we may mostly be planting „idiots“.
I have no idea how I missed #biosemiotics AS AN ENTIRE FIELD, but excited to dive in now! This paper is already getting me excited: https://t.co/Zdw2DMIMY7
