Cultivation - Building Community
Alignment - Hands on Instruction
Refinement - Job Provider Partnerships
Elevation - Growth to Next Level

This CARE Continuum is the answer to the school to prison pipeline. It’s an intentional effort to give these young people opportunities based on what THEY like and what THEY want to do with their lives.

We have partnerships with Microsoft, Epic Games (Fortnite), DAQA (game testing), Arrival Game Creative (gaming sound design) and many others who work with us to create lessons and curriculum that leads directly into job opportunities.

In addition…we worked with Epic Games scholastic partners to get a state certification in gaming animation that we will have to offer this fall.

Come play games…learn new skills and build a community. That’s what this is all about 🙌🏾

Two days of early voting are done in Louisiana.

Only 10,000 of the state’s 925,000 Black voters have shown up so far. That means more than 915,000 Black voters still can go do your part and vote.

Republicans are leading Democrats in early voting 22,000 to 14,000.

If you live in East Baton Rouge Parish, vote YES for the Council on Aging and YES for our libraries. In the Senate runoff, go vote for Jamie Davis.

Don’t tell me you’re paying attention if you aren’t participating.
