My partner has just witnessed in Elys Wimbledon (a store) a white couple use a racial slur against a brown family, telling them their child is "disgusting" & telling them to "go back where you came from".

The white family were not asked to leave.

@CentreCourtShop my transgender girlfriend was accused of shoplifting and attacked by security in your boots today.

She was verbally assaulted by a shop manager and physicaly pushed against a wall by a security guard.

This happened while she was browsing make up.

Why were staff shouting at her in a small room which she could not leave without facemasks on?

A security guard pushed her against a wall and then shoved her into a small room where she was held against her will while staff shouted at her continuously.

She was not trying to leave the shop and she was not trying to steal. Why was this use of force necessary?

She is a very petite person, she was not trying to leave the shop, she certainly was not trying to steal anything, why was force necessary?
