To the men who feel hurt by the way some women are talking about men, please hear us out. 🫂

We understand that being blamed for the actions of others is unfair. Not every man is a criminal, not every man is a misogynist, and we are genuinely sorry to the men who felt personally attacked. Our fight was never meant to make you feel guilty for something you haven't done. 🤍

But please understand why women are so angry. We are exhausted. Exhausted from adjusting our lives around men's actions. Tired of being told to come home early, dress differently, avoid certain places, and take responsibility for crimes committed against us.

Do you know how painful it is to want something as simple as walking freely at night and still feel afraid? To call your parents just to tell them you have reached home safely? To see your family worry every time you step outside? 💔

We don't hate men. We hate living in fear. We hate that our freedom comes with conditions, that our safety depends on how careful we are, and that even after everything, we are asked to adjust a little more.

When women say they don't feel safe, they are not saying every man is dangerous. They are saying we cannot always know who is safe, and the consequences of being wrong can change our lives forever.

And to the women expressing their anger, our pain is real, but let's not turn it against every man. There are men who respect us, support us, and stand beside us. They deserve to be heard and valued, too. 🫶

For that crime he is being circled by politicians, babus, and their paid chorus. An officer trying to stop people from being slowly poisoned is treated like the problem.

That is not a controversy. That is a confession.

I left India almost two decades ago for a smaller version of the same disease. I tried to make people follow traffic rules. I got road rage twice. I got a gun pointed at me and told to fuck off, because I chose the law over the local arrangement. Honesty is not rewarded here. It is punished until you either break, sell out, or leave.

Keep chanting that India is a great civilisation. Keep posting the GDP slides. Until genuine, stubborn, rule-bound people are allowed to lead, and the corrupt system and its sycophants are shown the door, this country will stay what it is: a place where integrity is a career ending defect and poison on the plate is just business.
