Here’s a bullet-point summary of Ripple’s 2025 roadmap for institutional DeFi on the XRP Ledger (XRPL):
Focus Areas: Enhancing XRPL for financial institutions with emphasis on security, compliance, and interoperability.
Native Lending Protocol:
Introduction of XLS-65d and XLS-66d specifications.
Voting scheduled for Q2 2025.
Features tokenized loans and on-ledger fixed-term lending with off-chain underwriting.
Aims to reduce reliance on intermediaries.
Multi-Purpose Tokens (MPT): New token type for flexible asset tokenization.
Permissioned DEX: A decentralized exchange designed for compliance in institutional trading.
Programmability Enhancements:
"Extensions" to customize features without complex smart contracts.
EVM-compatible sidechain launching in Q2 2025 to attract Ethereum developers.
Existing Features Utilized:
Automated Market Makers (AMM) for liquidity.
Decentralized Identifiers (DID) for privacy and identity management.
Price oracles for real-time data integration.
Partnerships: Collaboration with Archax to tokenize real-world assets, bridging traditional finance and blockchain.
Goals: Position XRPL as a leader in institutional DeFi by the end of 2025.
Dependencies: Success hinges on regulatory clarity and institutional adoption.
It’s here - Ripple’s roadmap for institutional DeFi on the XRP Ledger in 2025. As roadmaps go, I (personally) think this one is pretty great – outlining a clear direction with use cases and features (available and to be proposed) of what Ripple will be focused on contributing to the XRPL this year.
Welcome thoughts, feedback and memes. Maybe prayers.
Hey @CredibleCrypto the doge/BTC chart looks like it has only space to go up 🤔
Interested in the @traderview2 view?
I don't have a price target for doge, I was leaning towards a retrace for the usd chart? But the the BTC chart looks bullish.
We're looking at a 1 to 1.70usd price for doge if we get back to the highs (Based on a $100k or $170k BTC price).
Hey @CredibleCrypto@BCBacker@traderview2 where does the price of xrp get to if this chart gets anywhere near previous highs?
Conservative math 0.0002 BTC to 1 XRP
BTC at $100k = $20usd per XRP
BTC at $170k = $34usd per XRP
Is there a technical reason XRP/BTC won't return to the historical highs?
For an $8usd XRP target we'd see a 0.00008btc/xrp price based on £100k BTC this drops to 0.000047 of BTC hits £170k.
I'm a bit stuck with that chart only allowing an 8 to 13usd XRP price?
He does 65% exit then 35% moon mission - I was following his analysis since before the SEC case dropped, it was the same target then, 8/13usd which makes more sense based on a BTC price of $70k. Still can't come up with a good reason why we would not see more than 8-13usd for xrp if we have a $100k to £170k BTC price 🤔
@CredibleCrypto@BCBacker@traderview2 I've seen your targets, I don't disagree and it's difficult to suggest technically that they're wrong.... I guess it's possible we only retrace this chart like ETC/BTC did last cycle? But why, technically?
