I give you the Orange Creamsicle Old Fashioned:
Vanilla syrup, aromatic bitters, juiced half of tangerine/tangelo or slice of orange, zest the peel into the glass and 1.5 shot of your fav whiskey. Stir and finish w/ ice. Reminiscent of childhood but adult enough for a pandemic.

Update #2: for a warm-weather, thirst-quenching version, add a splash of selzter. Not too much or you’ll dilute the flavor. Just enough to add fizz and prolong the experience.
