A tornado was approaching but Amazon kept their workers on the job. Now an untold number (dozens?) are dead. The ultimate demonstration of the “profits before people” ethos of capitalism. #CapitalismKills https://t.co/c1zwDxcZ3O
At least 2 @Amazon workers just died when a warehouse collapsed over them
Many more trapped and injured. No answers from Amazon of why workers were still in the facility after tornado warnings
All Amazon's CEO @davehclark offered?

#AmazonTornado
I was tracking the tornado with friends last night.
The Amazon warehouse had HOURS of lead time.
The fact that Amazon still required people to show up to their shifts in a tornado warning and didn't shut things down is a travesty.
These deaths could have been prevented.
This is all that's left of an Amazon warehouse in Illinois after a tornado struck the building, in what's being described as a 'mass casualty event' by officials.
Several tornadoes struck a number of US states overnight, with reports of more than 50 people killed.
#BREAKING
Law enforcement has confirmed several people are dead as a result of the #AmazonWarehouse collapse in Edwardsville, IL.
I’ll have live reports on @KMOV at 5 and 6 this morning.

Here’s a picture of one of the #Amazon workers who did not survive the warehouse collapse last night. Clayton was 29 years old and was a maintenance worker. Praying extra hard for his family and all the families affected by this tragedy. #ilwx
