Today’s @ScitFootbll Saturday Senior Spotlight
(SUPERBOWL EDITION) is @QuinnDecourcey. After being sideline the past couple of years due to injury, Quinn returned earlier this year to provide depth to our wide receiver’s room.

When Quinn is not running routes for the Sailors, the 2025 Lax Captain, can be found running all over the lacrosse field as a midfield for the 2024 state finalists. In the classroom, Quinn holds a very impressive 4.32 GPA. DeCourcey is a member of multiple National Honor Societies, which include the Spanish Nation Honor Society, Business National Honor Society and SHS National Honor Society where he holds the title of President. He is all a member of the Global Economics Club, Model UN and is a representee for SHS Student Council. Quinn also enjoys giving back to his community where he is a volunteer coach and official for the local lacrosse programs. DeCourcey, also is the Owner and Managing Partner of Quinn D’s Youth Lacrosse Camps & Training.

Quinn is looking forward to continuing his academic career next year and wants to study finance and business. There no question the sky is the limit for Quinn!

Today’s @ScitFootbll Saturday Senior Spotlight is @Ronan_Manning. A two-year starter at LB, he was the leading tackler for the Sailors as a junior and is well on his way to repeating this feat as a senior. Ronan has a nose for the ball and a higher motor.

When Ronan is not tackling his opponents, can be found tackling his studies. Ronan can also be found putting extra work in at the gym. The 6’1” 210lb Senior, Benches 270lbs, Squats 465lbs and Deadlifts 500lbs. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family. Not only is Ronan a terrific football player, but a terrific person as well!

Today’s @ScitFootbll Saturday Senior Spotlight is @CaparellaChris. A two-year starter on the OL, Cap is also member of the school’s track team, where he throws the shot put.

When Cap is not blocking for running backs or tossing around heavy objects like the shot put, he can be found in the classroom where he has an impressive 3.97 GPA. Chris is also a part of Scituate’s National Honors Society, Scituate’s Business National Honors Society, Scituate’s World Language National Honors Society, Deca Club and Fly Foundation Club at Scituate high school.

Cap plans to major in business or finance in college, where he hopes to continue playing football. @SLU_Football

Yesterday we received word that our beloved assistant coach, Harold Gerbis passed away unexpectedly.
Our team and staff are hurting, but now we have a new purpose and goal, “Do it for Gerb!” to keep his spirit alive with us.
