"They planted a seed over his grave. The seed became a tree. He said his father became a part of that tree...and when a sparrow ate the tree's fruit, his father flew with the birds. He said death was his father's road to awe. That's what he called it. The road to awe.” #Soul
@VishalBhargava5 Interesting episode as usual. Two things stood out -
1) He talked abt the 4.8 lac emi payment with a coy, boastful smile, and few minutes later he laments that househelps charge Rs 8,000 for each work. Wow.
2) Glass walls, no balconies, & unflattering decor.
Watched a bit of #happypatel and it doesn't work mostly due to @thevirdas' lame accent and weak writing. Its tone & gags (like the old waiter crawling to the table) belong to the 2015 youtube sketch era, which the likes of AIB, EIC, SnG did far better. 👎@thetanmay@hankypanty
@varungrover@VidyaKrishnan Have you read "Everything Is Tuberculosis" by John Green? Curious as to how the two books fare while dealing with similar subject matters.
#Netflix really needs to stop throwing money at @DharmaMovies! And dharma's decade-long track record of egregious & pretentious movies needs to be studied. Movies that lack both heart & mind, aimed at lecturing audiences, and made by ignorant, snobby imbeciles.
#AccusedOnNetflix is terrible! An interesting concept executed so shabbily that it makes you wonder how they pulled it off. Good lead actors wasted & terribly cast supporting actors (most white actors seem to be from Aram Nagar). Amateurish direction & woefully bad writing. Sigh.
More power to you @ArvindKejriwal! Heartbreaking to see you cry, but alas truth prevails. Millions stand with you, the man who gave his everything to make a better India. Keep fighting! @msisodia
Loved #Kohrra2 for its superb cast, setting, language & treatment. #MonaSingh#BarunSobti are amazing, but @PrayrakMehta was the standout for me! What a performance!
The last two episodes undo a lot of the good work though. Too convenient & simplistic. Sigh. Still kudos! 👍👍
Feels like the algo threw up buzzwords and #Netflix conjured up their lookalikes. Sasta Succession -- #FamilyBusiness. SonyLiv coded #HumHindustani. Plus a reality show, K-drama, tv soap family drama, and yeah another TVF show on exams. Sigh. 👎👎
@_mrchaturvedi Calm down. It's clearly a paid post. Kadel guy probably doesn't even read before posting ig. And while you are nitpicking, "rip off" isn't the word to use for an official remake/adaptation. A survival thriller does seem like a fresh choice in times of jingoistic beards&bicep crap
The unmissable irony of finding out that Ajit Pawar's dead body was identified by his...watch.
A symbol of the NCP throne he desired and wrested from Sharad Pawar.

I wish the #Kennedy trailer was better though. This is a movie best enjoyed in theatres. Plus it is thrilling and engaging. Almost "mainstream" if you will. But the trailer didn't capture or convey that. Which is a pity. Hope more people watch it.
#Kennedy is @anuragkashyap72 in prime form! A moody, atmospheric, haunting thriller that speaks of police/politics & yet remains deeply personal. Stems perhaps from Kashyap's guilt of being absent from his daughter's life. One of his all time best. 1/n
#Kennedy is what Fincher's #TheKiller could have been. Encompasses so much of the world and yet the core remains personal. The theme of self destruction in pursuit of creation ending in regret is something we saw in #Ugly but this is on another level in terms of craft. Just wow.
#TheRoses is one the funniest movies this year! Sharp, satirical, poignant and bitterly funny for about 80% of its runtime, after which for some reason, the movie turns farcical and ends with what feels like a copout. Sigh. Still so much fun!
