@rugby_podcast As soon as we got the ball off the restart, we had to kick it. The refs have decided they won't allow rucks to close it out. Need to respond to that and play territory. It's a bit ridiculous but just another area where we can play smarter

Australia are currently ranked 7th, just lost to Italy who were 14th, and are still an outside chance of winning the rugby world cup. League has many strengths but can't claim to have much international competition

@AngusRowan7 @cactus_back What he's saying is that there are 2 teams on the park and they're both trying to win. The other team is meant to be and is much better than ours. We lost by a point. France playing beneath themselves is not an explanation if we're playing as badly as you suggest

@AnthonyMcGrif @rugbycomau But they lose money by hosting it in such a small stadium. So the only reason to do it is to reward fans. They should definitely play world cup matches there but there's only a about 5k fans to reward in Canberra atm apparently

@AnthonyMcGrif @rugbycomau But the rebels are a consistently terrible team in a city with huge stadiums and lots of people. Canberra has a small stadium and a fairly small population, with a very successful rugby team that they don't watch. Build a better stadium in the city itself and it might be worth it
