As questions mount over the quality of the newly inaugurated Mrinaltai Gore Extension Flyover, an internal civic vigilance inspection report of January 14, 2021 & also it’s compliance report of June 1,2021 which I accessed has revealed that inspection officials had flagged multiple quality control lapses, structural defects and record-keeping irregularities during the construction of the project back then.

The vigilance report paints a picture of poor supervision and inadequate quality assurance at various stages of execution, with observations ranging from surface cracks and honeycombing in piers to failed concrete strength tests and missing quality records.

To think that in 2021, she stopped playing tennis for months due to a battle with depression and self doubt… Back then, it would’ve been nearly impossible for her to imagine herself in a Grand Slam final.

Her father worked as an electrician in the coal mines and her mother is a receptionist.

They worked tirelessly to support her dreams from the time she was little, and they uplifted her when she had to stop playing tennis to protect her mental health.

Her run in Paris reminded the world that if you work hard at your passion every day, if you have people who love you, and if you never give up on yourself, the ranking next to your name holds no meaning…

You can still make your own fairytale.

In the midst of a massive fire in Delhi's Hauz Rani area, mattress seller Riyazuddin Mansuri and his son Arman became heroes.

As people trapped in the building were forced to jump to save their lives, Riyazuddin laid 20-25 mattresses and quilts on the street-risking ₹2 lakh worth of goods-to protect them.

His quick thinking saved at least eight lives, reminding us that courage, compassion, and humanity are very much alive.

For most families, buying a vehicle is a once-in-years decision, often backed by savings or loans. When they hear “no future,” it naturally triggers panic for new buyers and anxiety for existing owners.

The transition to cleaner mobility is absolutely needed—but messaging matters just as much as policy. Policy direction should inspire confidence, not fear and communication should focus on a phased, practical roadmap: – strengthen EV infrastructure
– ensure affordability of alternatives
– support existing vehicle owners
– give clear timelines, not sweeping statements

People don’t resist change, they resist uncertainty.
