The city has #Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, the largest in Europe (6000 Megawatt). And now it's online

I little-known fact: the town Enerhodar is now not that far away from conflict zone

It has the lagest nuclear power in Europe and produces up to 1/4 of Ukraine electricity

It's now much more important than Chernobyl NPP/Pripyat

Today at 15:00 local time @iaeaorg mission arrived to #Zaporizhzhia city (≈100km from the NPP)

They are yet to cross the front line

Reportedly russia specifically targets (shells) the roads they'd need to use for traveling to the NPP

Reportedly a few school teachers were kidnaped as they did not agree to work under occupation
