A CISO at Team8 has the cleanest line on agent security I have heard. It is easy to build a guardrail that is 100 percent effective: unplug the agent and throw it in the ocean. Perfectly safe, and perfectly useless.

The fire is not the model giving a wrong answer. It is the agent your team already wired into Claude Code or Cursor last Tuesday, that plans, calls tools, and acts on production at machine speed, and nobody inventoried.

You cannot secure what you have not named. I published the smallest artifact that turns an ungoverned agent into a governed one, plus a free template.

@kartikb753 Not yet at the eval level. MCP writes stay pending until a human approves the exact payload; without approval they expire unexecuted. Permission denials return tool errors, but we don’t currently mark the whole agent run as failed for that.

@sunsetsyntax API, yes! The UI uses the same authenticated FastAPI backend for inventory, monitoring and Ansible jobs, so you can call it directly. Swagger docs are at /api/docs on your instance. There’s no native MCP endpoint in the current release.
