Ketamine is not a party drug in that it gets you just high. It causes the user to lose ability to control their bodies at high doses and leaves the person conscious but unable to move, speech or consent.

The amount of ketamine given to the Cornell gang rape victim is enough to leave her defenseless for the 7 hours she was raped. They kept giving her more and more on their dicks as they raped her.

If you are using the defense that she took it willingly, you are total scum and you are telling the world you would rape a paralyzed person for 7 hours and think it is okay.

Accepting drugs is not consent to sex.
Getting drunk is not consent to sex.
Consent to sex with one person isn't consent to sex with 6 others.

You know what pisses me off about the people who are clutching their pearls over the idea that people want “permanent ruin” for the Cornell 7? There is absolutely no consideration for the FACT that this woman’s life has been permanently ruined through no fault or choice of her own. THEY chose their actions. No one forced them to drug and gang rape that poor woman. They CHOSE that shit.

I once saw an episode of Oprah (I know, I know, but this matters) where she interviewed men who were in prison for sex crimes. And something that one of them said has stuck in my head for this entire time since seeing it. He said that, in his opinion, he should’ve been charged with murder. Oprah was struck by that and asked him to elaborate. He explained that what he really did by committing this crime (if I remember correctly he molested a younger family member) was killed who the girl was supposed to be. Who she would’ve have been had these horrible things never happened to her. And he was right. This victim will never get over this. She will learn to cope with it. She will learn to manage the stress, anxiety, anger, fear. But she has been given a life sentence. They deserve the same.
