My sweet trusty bike was stolen this week. Feeling very sentimental so sending a small thank you into the void. Thank you for the many gorgeous trips we went on together, for taking me to see loved ones all around the city and for refusing to have a smooth gear shift💕
@WaveConnects I haven't had a wifi connection since 12:30 pm yesterday. I got a call saying the outage was resolved, but it was not. This is crazy @WaveConnects
I did not see a SINGLE police officer at the massive march today in South Seattle. What I did see:
✊🏽bicyclists managing traffic
✊🏽medics handing out water and snacks
✊🏽neighbors keeping each other safe
We don’t need militarized police to keep us safe. We keep us safe.
#BREAKING Seattle City Councilmember @CMTMosqueda : “We have a list of demands and (Mayor Durkan) has not met them. I don’t see another way. We are going to have to make a statement on Monday.”
STOP. @MayorJenny@carmenbest@SeattlePD JUST STOP! There is no need to use these dangerous tactics. This is excessive use of force and absolutely unnecessary. I got multiple reports that it was absolutely peaceful. Families are there! STOP traumatizing protesters & neighbors!
#seattleprotest if they have an LRAD, physical signs are best. Hold cardboard or paper signs (like the ones you’re carrying) perpendicular to the LRAD and itll deflect the sound. Won’t be perfect, but it’ll work
Walk perpendicular away from the source.
