@adevarat_iacob@IFFFMEISTER@John_markos_ Then you would just be adoring bread. Adoration has to be post consecration. Only time where yall have that is in the pre sanctified liturgy’s great entrance, where it’s already been consecrated from Sunday’s liturgy.
@adevarat_iacob@IFFFMEISTER@John_markos_ Per EO liturgy the great entrance is bringing forth the gifts to the altar by a procession. It hasn’t yet been consecrated.
@LlLNEGUS@Nixie_0489@CyrilEnthusiast@C2Antiquity Let me guess, he blocked you after his reply to this so you can’t reply to him, when you were clearly referring to his latter point that they’re not used in the liturgy? This is funny.
@Nixie_0489@CyrilEnthusiast@C2Antiquity That’s not Coptic you goofy. These are ancient Ethiopian orthodox instruments. They are not part of the liturgy but used for praises and vigils.
@grevstv This is the result of the watering down of the diaconate in the Coptic church. These girls aren’t deacons, and letting them do the diaconal roles is almost as bad as letting any male serve as a “deacon”.
@originalddawg@chunguskitten@Patricio_F99 Ironic because an abbot of a monastery under Arch. George was found guilty of being a paedophile and was sentenced to life. Don’t throw stones from a glass house!!!
