People are throwing their toys at the PSL, Pirates and Chiefs saying that Swallows didn't get the sponsorship approved but theirs was.
It's pretty simple. Swallows didn't get their potential partner to agree to sign a waiver for betting companies that want to be in the PSL. Waiver that 10Bet (Arrows) and Supersportbet (KC and OP) signed.
Once again, had Swallows gotten their potential partner to sign, they would surely have gotten the sponsorship. Compliance is important.
People must get their facts straight and stop complaining about everything.

Moroka Swallows have been found guilty of misconduct & bringing the League into disrepute, after failing to honour matches vs Sundowns & Arrows.
1. Sundowns walkover. 3-0.
2. Arrows walkover. 3-0.
3. Swallows fined R1-million (R600k suspended for 24 months)

TDLR โ Iโm concerned that AFCON simply isn't commercially attractive enough for brands.
And by losing such a major broadcast partner so close to the tournament, sponsors are losing a huge amount of value and fans are likely to lose out. (9/11)
I really see someone throwing ยฃ25M at Burnley for Lyle Foster, if they go down.
Heโs a truly complete centre forward.
Whether itโs holding the ball up, linking play, dropping deep, high pressing, running the channels or taking half chances - Lyle Foster can do it all.
@charles_tshwane@therealabdi_01 Good one warra but Swallows lacks appeal. There's no marketing at all except banter from their chairperson. They should learn from CT City on how you go about such business.
Ntate Irvin Khoza and Kaizer Motaung have done great things for South African football. The R2.5m monthly grants each PSL club gets was because they realized that for PSL, Chiefs and Pirates to exist, there needed to be financial support for all 16 teams.
So only those kids that their parent have money can attend the trials.
What about those talented kids that don't have money to pay for the trials fee?
This can't be real. This sounds like a scam to me. I would expect something like this from a scammer, not a professional club.
How much money are you guys expecting to make from this trials?
@charles_tshwane Yes, it's about the money. What's disappointing is at the end of the day, they'll pick 5 or so players out of the lot. I don't understand this recruitment style by PSL clubs. Why don't they send scouts to get players from the youth tournaments that go on around the country?
@African_Insider At least try to get the likes of @charles_tshwane, @Nmmolefe and other correspondents well versed with the ins & outs of African football to help out.
@Football_IQ_99@Lorenz_KO Remember how you sympathised with Bucs' players regarding the abuse suffered at the hands of some unruly fans? Now you replicating the same conduct of those fans on Kahraba. Seems you haven't recovered from your mudslinging with that Egyptian/Al Ahly fan.
