Last night my son's drawing failed on a dark table. So I rebuilt the cutout: it finds the sheet first, then the figure. All on the iPad, the photo never goes to an AI.

I'm soo exited to see which painting come to life today :)

Session 2 of my school course starts soon. 19 kids now, eight teams.

Today every team brings a character they drew on paper. They snap a photo on the iPad and it walks in their own game.

This is the kids' UI kit. Designing for 6-year-olds: big tap targets, a word under every icon because not everyone can read yet, one color per block type.

First session of "Abenteuer KI" (Adventure AI) at my son's school starts in an hour. For him and his classmates.

My first workshop with kids. I'm really excited.

16 kids, ages 6 to 11, eight teams, ten Fridays. Each team builds its own game on an iPad.

I built the app myself:
→ block editor, no typing
→ kids draw a character on paper, snap it, it walks in their game
→ AI draws pictures, but only after I've read every wish

@marckohlbrugge @itopinion I would try to port the iPhone I’ve created for my son to it.. it is basically a companion app with lots of guardrails added. A dedicated device instead of an old iphone (less distractions). Could be a cool usecase :-)

@SebastianRoehl @ChatGPT Ich bau das Thema auch grad komplett in meiner app zeit. Spannendes Thema. Datev/Addison Export ist schon drin, Bank-Sync (in meinem Fall n26) funktioniert auch.

Workflow aktuell: Belege wie bisher sammeln, hochladen, automatisches mapping und freigabe.
