@scotfax@Dan_Dawson65 So the argument is that Scotland ceased to exist as an independent country and was absorbed into the Union and then resources in Scotland were used, much like the resources elsewhere in the UK, for the benefit of the whole. Compelling :)
Trump berates Zelensky, the leader of a democratic country courageously fighting Russian imperialism, while he allies himself with Putin, a dictator who started the bloodiest European war in 80 years.
Sorry, President Trump. We believe in democracy, not authoritarianism.
Generations of American patriots, from our revolution onward, have fought for the principles Zelenskyy is risking his life to defend. But today, Donald Trump and JD Vance attacked Zelenskyy and pressured him to surrender the freedom of his people to the KGB war criminal who invaded Ukraine. History will remember this day— when an American President and Vice President abandoned all we stand for.
It should be illegal to offer online sign up to a service and require the consumer to call a number to cancel. It's shoddy practice and companies make it so laborious that you just give up. Newspapers are particularly onorous.
@kevverage Those who want genuine change really would be better off putting their energy into something else. Their are other political campaigns ( child poverty, domestic abuse, poor housing etc ) that really could do with the same energy poured into them that is wasted on this pipe-dream.
@LesleyRiddoch If there is no ability to export the energy produced then there will be no substantial green industries. It is the absence of such projects that will result in no investment in Scotland's renewables industry. This is a good thing for Scottish energy producers.
