@EazyNow7@makecitiesgreat They aren't *that* efficient. They still routinely have top up the water and flush the system completely every so often.
But the water use point is completely moot in st louis where we have a lot of excess capacity
@Beganovic2025 I've asked for this with the brickline planning. Seems like the city won't agree to it over concerns of emergency vehicle access and parade operations
@digital_twinn@sgodofsk Practically none of these historic rowhomes have HOAs. It's actually a big pro over modern townhome developments that pretty much universally have HOAs
@LinkofSunshine Oh that's rough without a street map. Is there not a street map to turn on? I thought I saw it last night with @milesintransit1's Livestream
@michelainestl @Beganovic2025 Thats equivalent to having the Schnucks on Lindell in CWE.
I used to live in midtown Atlanta and shopped there regularly. That publix was small and always very busy. Imagine the downtown schnucks size
@STLMetro No change to the #10? Because the 5:30pm from Civic Center just never exists more than half the time, and never is tracking before civic center along Lindell
@atlurbanist Philly is also really up there. It's not broadly affordable, but it's pretty affordable relative to the other NE cities, and the transit is pretty great as far as US cities go.
@atlurbanist Chicago.
I live in St Louis now, and while I know plenty of people without a car, the transit has its pain points. Terrific city though. If you stick to living in certain neighborhoods, you can make the transit work. And maybe have a bit of patience for low frequency
@doublezerodonut@EdisonCarterN23 Alot of these have plow options and would make a great plow for driveways, alleys, smaller parking lots. Plenty of people lift them and put AT tires on them
Exciting news! π We have launched a GoFundMe to power our work for a better St. Louis: safer streets, more housing, and a greener city.
Chip in and help us build the future we envision!

@Beganovic2025 That one block with the hotel valet is so weird. The cycletrack narrows from 10ft to 8 to make room for the parking, and then there's just a striped off shoulder. That extra width could have been for the cycletrack.
