@KIRO7Seattle This happened to my brother probably 20 years ago now, in the Highline school district. We were so insanely lucky that a neighbor brought him back, but the school didn’t even know he was gone. He was at most 5-6.

I guess nothings changed in school security and safety in 20 yrs.

I’ve never felt more like a caged animal than today. I was taking a post-coffee shit, and my toddler opens the door and stands there watching me as he eats his Pirates Booty out of the bag.

For context, theres a baby gate on the bathroom door, cuz there’s a litter box in here.

This is not the America I want to raise my children in. This is not okay. Add Tyre’s name to the never ending list of evidence against these pigs that call themselves “servants of the people”. Say his name. Loud and clear.

Also, side note, the ESPN feature has never worked on our package. We recently called to resolve this, and it took way too long, and still is spotty. I thought @disney was better than this.

@DisneyPlus this whole ad-inclusive thing is absolutely irritating. And no, I will not be paying more for the ad free version. I have the package that includes Hulu and ESPN. Why would I want to pay more?

I see two solutions to this: get rid of the ads on users that are under the age of 5 (because the longer the ad, the longer my small child screams because his movie isn’t going). Or simply lower the cost of the ad-free version. I’d be willing to pay a little more, but not triple.

Also, you have to be over 18 to work where I work. So these are definitely capable adult humans. But they just don’t care.

Proof that my company doesn’t hire anyone but self centered kids anymore:

-there’s constantly piss on the toilet seats (2 gender neutral bathrooms, staff only)

-I’ve had to wash at least 3 dishes that weren’t mine in the break room on the last few days since they just get left

But thanks to the filibuster, 41 Senate Republicans representing just 21% of the country can block it.

This is not how democracy is supposed to work.

—No universal childcare
—No paid family & medical leave
—One of the highest rates of maternal mortality among rich nations

This isn't about "life." It's about control.

There are larger implications as well. Roe was first. LGBTQIA+ rights may be next. Who knows after that.

My body. My choice.

And now they leave me no choice but to use my body in advocacy against them.

If the gender roles were reversed, you better believe that this case would not have been overturned, but would be overwhelmingly upheld and rebuilt to protect the rights of men. But because it’s a “women’s rights issue”, it gets dismissed as something MEN can legislate.
