If you guys are newer gen for League of Legends. Here's the reference.
The Scarra Ward. https://t.co/tad7w1I7oD
This ward placement from dragon pit to the tri brush was an EXTREMELY difficult ward to place (kind of like baron to red buff wall).
Back then wards were NOT FREE.
But here's the thing...
Back in old league of legends you didn't have a cursor indicator to show whether your ward was INSIDE the bush or not.
Nowadays you have a green indicator to show if you are in or out of the bush. Even so, riot gives a sort of forgiveness on pixel perfect wards and will even push in wards into bushes as long as you are within a couple pixels of a bush.
The Scarra Ward is a very famous moment clipped in League's history where ex pro player Scarra misses multiple wards that push them to the side of the tri bush and only the successful one is on the little ledge of the rock with Scarra's glasses as the reference to the one that was correctly placed.
Huge props to the Riot team bringing this level of attention to detail to the map. Not only did they bring the winter map everyone wanted for a decade, League of Legends is finally bringing back the soul of the game that I felt was missing.
Riot really is saving League.
