In the last few years we've seen:
- The plot to kidnap Gretchen Whitmer
- The Storming of the Capitol and pipe bombs left at the RNC and DNC
- The break-in to kidnap Nancy Pelosi and the brutal on Paul Pelosi
- Multiple assassination attempts against Trump
- The assassination of Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband and the shooting of on State Senator John Hoffman and his wife

- The assassination of Charlie Kirk
Political violence is contagious. It is spreading. It is not confined to one side or belief system. It should terrify us all.
The foundation of a free society is the ability to participate in it without fear of violence. Political violence is always an attack against us all. You have to be so blind not to see that.
the other day my boyfriend turned to me and said, word for word: "a big difference in our value systems is that unlike you, I respect clowns as performers"
@AirCanada delayed our flight by 4 hours, making us miss our connecting flight to Tokyo. No rebooking, no options shared. Waiting almost 2 hours just to talk to someone, and we still don’t know if we will be taken to our destination. Thanks for the horrible experience 👎🏼
It's as if someone in the US administration really wants to associate Jews with these crazy unhinged policies. So let's be clear about it: there is nothing less Jewish than deporting a person because of their beliefs & Hebrew is not a language to use to persecute people.
what really gets me is mahmoud did everything that administrators claim they want from us. he was always unmasked, he was extremely tactful with his words, was a legal permanent resident, was kind & patient even with those who dehumanized him, always stayed rational & calm.

The idea that your attention span is gone forever is just a comforting lie people tell themselves to cope with the fact that they're too lazy to put in the work required to get it back. It's a muscle like any other, which grows or wastes away according to one's effort. Will issue
Historian here:
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
― Theodore Roosevelt
Maturity is discovering that most of your life is spent in a plateau, and if you don't fall in love with practice, mastery, and moving the needle forward you'll constantly try to escape the plateau with cheap stimulation and busy work that only keeps you there longer.
would love a spin off series about this family losing all their money in a financial scandal and having to move to their only remaining asset: a small town the kids previously bought as a joke gift for their dad. would be interesting !!! #WhiteLotus
