@abbiewhat Ok but for real— does it seem like he’s gotten EXTRA AGGRESSIVE in the last couple of months? Or am I just extra aware of his behavior lately? He’s been a problem for ages, but the way he’s behaving lately feels EXTRA
My old-man neighbor is super sweet. Chats are very kind when we run into each other, he respects our space, etc. But DANG. This man watches tv/movies SO LOUD with his surround sound. Sir, I’m happy you’re enjoying the movie, but my walls are shaking
May through September are really hard for me. From my grandmother’s birthday—which is shared by my elementary bestie—to friend breakups, friend deaths, mentor deaths, reminders of shows with awful people… if I don’t reply…it isn’t you. I’m just grieving what might’ve been
I feel really weird around ex-friends’ birthdays. The dates are seared into my mind. I want to wish them well on their journeys, even though they might be far away or just not connected to me anymore. I don’t always know why. But Happy Birthday nonetheless.
My Worker’s Comp insurance tried to send me to a physical therapist nearly 2hrs away when I am already established (THROUGH WC!) at a PT place less than 3 minutes from my home. WHAT?
Someone in a white hatchback just pulled into our neighbors’ driveway bumping super loud edm, hacked and gagged a bunch into the bushes, and then drove off. Be careful on the road, folks
Heard random, rhythmic thumping outside. It started getting closer. I moved closer to see what the noise could be. Some dude jogging at 10:40pm down the street dribbling a basketball. Follow your dreams, my dude. Follow those dreams
Physical Therapist: You need to relax the muscles in your leg while we do these manipulations.
Me: My guy, you are shoving my kneecap in directions it has never gone. Also, there is no part of me that has ever been relaxed my entire life. I’m doing my best, here.
PT: ……
One time, as a kid staying over at my grandparents’ house, I unrolled some TP and was faced with a wolf spider. Relived that mess just now when I went to pee middle of the night and found one staring at me from the toilet lid.
I’m looking for Adults, Teens, and Kids over 8, all ethnicities and abilities!
I’m excited to spend my fall working on this spooky show!

Physical therapy is like a dopamine machine.
Do short exercise, get told I’m doing great, get to do something new. Rinse and repeat for an hour and a half. PLUS the added benefit of being able to bend and straighten my knee, and the ice at the end is like a reward.
Every time I’m feeling burnt out or scared or afraid to hope in the future… one or more of the young people I’ve worked with appears and tells me *exactly* what I need to hear. To any of you who are here: Thank You. You made me who I am. And I will never forget.
