The Radix Programmer's Guild was formed to help devs succeed using Scrypto and other tools that support the Radix Distributed Ledger. #dlt#scrypto#defi $xrd
@generikx1@flimflam15 Normally true but in this case his right arm was completely wrapped around Pitts. Impossible to miss and so the ref simply decided that he didn't want to call a foul in the end zone to decide the outcome.
@coopuhscoopuh@flimflam15 Those were make-up calls to try and cover up the reality that they missed the crucial call. Sorry. More bad calls does not change the fact that the crucial bad call went, as it always seems to do, in the favor of the Chiefs.
Punched past 1 million swaps / second for the first time! 🥳
A bit of memory thrashing I need to look at (validators are only 8GB remember) but otherwise all green.
Can taste the success at this point. It's good!
The Radix Transaction Preview guarantees exactly what will happen when you approve a transaction.
Unlike other wallets that rely on simulations, which can expose you to significant risk if wrong, Radix ensures that what you see is truly what you get—every single time.
@LeisurePitch@radixdlt Technically post-blockchain. The Radix distributed ledger does not require premature transaction sorting (which is a major reason why blockchains can't scale up to global proportions without serious compromises in utility.)
Another amazing project launched by all round good guy @ripsource
Soulstores are kind of like NFT goodie bags. You can create a soulstore account for any NFT and then add any other resource in to the soulstore account. So your favourite NFT may now hold all the other resources that relate to that NFT, maybe the project's governance tokens or affiliated NFT collections. If you want to sell the goodie bag all the assets inside go with it.
Without tools to control our identity, blockchain is not better than the internet, it is worse.
Radix has decided to make sure that private, permissionless and decentralised identity primitives are built into the Radix ledger to ensure that control always stays with the user.
@MartiniGuyYT How about the top alt coin on Radix $HUG
We are sitting at a $3M mcap so $10K would get you a really nice bag, and our community would lose its mind if you joined.
We are already on a moon mission, but would love to have you help us get there quicker 🫡
@Atonavis14660@VikesRock23@MattWallace888@dom_lucre Shadows are very sharp during an eclipse. Didn't you notice that? I did, especially during the 15 minutes before and after totality. The sun as a sliver in the sky is much more like a point source than usual.
This is a tragedy and I really feel for the OP. 😞
Radix was built to make stories like this a thing of the past.
There are three reasons why this hack wouldn’t have been possible on Radix today:
1) If there were a “malicious transaction” on Radix, e.g. a website front end got hacked, it would be clear that the transaction was malicious as all transactions on Radix are human-readable. Signing a transaction like this on Radix would say something like: withdrawing X tokens from your account; depositing X tokens to this other person's account. So unless you're completely asleep at the wheel, what happened in the 2nd tweet wouldn’t have been possible on Radix.
https://t.co/8MshQcyKem
2) There are no “malicious tokens” on Radix, because all assets are native. A token on Radix can’t be imbued with malicious smart contract logic, because tokens on Radix aren’t smart contracts - they're “resources” that have intrinsic “physics” like behaviours guaranteed by Radix Engine. What happened in the 3rd tweet wouldn’t have been possible on Radix.
https://t.co/OiMGBpieG3
3) The Radix Wallet is a mobile iOS/Android app so your seed phrase is not stored on desktop.
For a big screen desktop experience, you can connect your mobile app to your desktop session P2P via Radix Connect. With Radix Connect, you interact with the website dApp on desktop and then approve transactions on mobile. Because of this, your seed never leaves your mobile or hardware device - it doesn't touch your desktop, making for a safer experience.
https://t.co/blduiKK6yV
And if you do need to reveal your seed phrase, then the mobile app will blank out your screen if you take a screenshot.
Because of this, what happened in the 5th tweet wouldn’t have been possible on Radix.
But that's not all:
Native multifactor auth and recovery will be coming to the Radix Wallet in an update later this year, meaning that you don't even need to rely on a single seed phrase - you'll be able to create Smart Accounts that require 2 out of 3 of phone, Yubikey, and Arculus card to sign a transaction (or any combination you desire for auth or recovery).
@PiersRidyard@XRDdomains A little bit of integration with the Radix Name Service by the Radix Mobile Wallet would go a long way. Transfer needs to be able to work with an XRD Domain and setting a persona name to a string that ends with .xrd should check that the domain is owned and show the renewal date.

Thanks for using our services!
@JCRYPTO_YT@Radix_ecosystem@PiersRidyard@matthew_hine@radixdlt The answer depends on the details of what problem you are trying to solve. If the data requirements are modest and finite then Radix handles it fine. For other cases Celestia may be best but it doesn't handle every use case either. I agree that an integration is intriguing.
@Lightspeedpodhq Sure. A show about which chain can become the second best network behind Radix should be a nice human interest story if you like that sort of thing.
@JCRYPTO_YT Not sure about how prevalent open source is for Radix right now but you have to start by pointing out that the DeXTer front end is not only open source but also entirely community built. FWIW I have edited RadixWiki in the past. I don't mind setting up a list there.
At what point do so called 'Web3 Security experts' objectively say "do you know what, after 7 years of people getting constantly scammed and drained the EVM is not actually fit for purpose for securing people's digital assets, there must be better solutions".
