I need the $180 fee itemized to submit it to my credit card’s trip delay insurance for reimbursement. Budget’s rep promised a refund when they couldn’t change the receipt, then another rep refused both options. Now I’m stuck paying out of pocket bc of Budget’s inconsistency.
@Budget I was charged a $180 one-way fee at IAD, yet it’s not itemized on my receipt. One rep promised a refund; 3 days later, another said they can do nothing. How can you charge a fee you won’t properly document, then go back on a promised refund? This is unacceptable.
This was due to a flight delay that forced us to rent a car at IAD and return it elsewhere to reach Knoxville, TN. I was told in person the $180 fee was being charged, due to the car being returned at a different location, yet it’s missing from the receipt.
@united I’m extremely frustrated. After a 12+ hour delay, a United rep told me over the phone to submit a hotel reimbursement claim and said it would be reimbursed. It was later denied. I’ve asked for a supervisor to review this, but have gotten no response since Friday.
