@AkasaAir 11 more days without any update. I have run out of adjectives to describe your utterly useless customer service. Now, I am sure you have run out of standard templates you use to reply to me as well!
@AkasaAir "Indiaโs most dependable airline" - Yeah right! What a joke!!!
I called up Akasa air customer care on Dec 15th 2024 at 22:54 regarding the cancellation of the flight ticket for my parents: Bangalore to Hyderabad on 23rd Dec 2024 PNR: TE3I4E; Flightย QP - 1438

@AkasaAir It's been a week since I shared all the details but there has been absolutely no action from your end. Your customer service has gone from poor to atrocious!
Your customer care says it was an NPCI guidance to stop auto-debit. I've NOT received any communication for that. Also, the attached notification clearly states that auto-debit was "active". Hence, it was clearly a miss from your end. I need my policy to reactivated immediately.
@Bandhan_Life My term plan premium payment was due on 3rd Sep '24. For 9 years, I was seamlessly paying it via bank auto-debit. In 2024, you did not present the bill (confirmed with my bank - HDFC). Hence the payment wasnโt made. Now, the policy has lapsed, for NO FAULT of mine.
@AkasaAir Now, I need help in escalating this to the highest level possible, to enable a quick and proper resolution. I am sick and tired of speaking to your customer service executives and relating the same issue, from scratch!
@AkasaAir When I sought help in escalating this matter, I was asked to write to [email protected], which I did on 31stDec, 2024. There has been no response yet.
@AkasaAir The only option given to me was to do a post-facto cancellation with a refund of around INR 2000 (after cancellation charges + penalty). This was completely unacceptable. Why would I incur a penalty for no fault of mine?
@AkasaAir I was appalled by the lack of processes at your end to trace down a call using logs or recording to understand what exactly transpired. This was a new low in customer service!
@AkasaAir I did not receive any call nor did I get any satisfactory resolution when I called back multiple times. None of the customer care executives - Faizal, Shivani, Prathamesh etc. gave me a clear path for resolution.
@AkasaAir I was told the tickets were not cancelled and it was a "No Show" for both passengers. I was shocked to hear this. I insisted they should track my request from the previous call, including the call recording. I was told I would get a call back once the recording was checked.
@AkasaAir However, on the day of the departure (23rd December), I got a few messages from Akasa Air regarding the flight delay. Since I had already cancelled the tickets, I wondered why these messages were being sent. Then I called up customer care to know the status of the cancellation.
@AkasaAir I was informed that the tickets for both passengers had been cancelled and a refund of INR 3000+ (I am unable to remember the exact amount) would be initiated after deducting the cancellation charges.
Well played, King Kohli! Thanks for getting us across the line yet again... Well, almost! On that note, what happened towards the end was anything but selfless! #CWC23#INDvsNZ#Kohli
