Our beloved Jagannath is one of the most symbolic and esoteric forms in the entire Hindu tradition. At first glance, His form appears unusual, large circular eyes, no visible eyelids, incomplete arms and legs, and a simple wooden body. Yet every feature invites us to look beyond appearances and contemplate a deeper truth.
Jagat = the universe, all that moves.
Nātha = Lord, Master.
Jagannath literally means “The Lord of the Universe.”
His ever-open eyes remind us of awareness that never sleeps. His unconventional form reminds us that the Infinite cannot be confined to human imagination. The wooden body points to the impermanence of all forms, while the Consciousness that dwells within remains eternal.
Perhaps Jagannath is not asking us to admire His form, but to awaken to what His form is pointing towards.
“Can I become like these eyes—fully awake, seeing everything, attached to nothing? Can I remember that the body changes, but the awareness that knows every experience remains unchanged?”
Jai Jagannath. 🕉️🔱🙏🏼
Hari Aum Tat Sat.
Ashadh Gupt Navratri has arrived 🌺
This period is intentionally set aside for those seeking spiritual progress through patience and stability. Rather than focusing on external rituals, the seeker approaches the Goddess as 'Aadhya Shakti', the primordial force behind creation, preservation, and dissolution, to dismantle the false ego and break free from a fear-based identity.
The focus here is internal recalibration. The goal isn't to chase dramatic visions, but to shift consciousness. Her presence shows up as mental clarity, sharper intuition, and the resolving of old emotional patterns.
The Das Mahavidya worship during these days helps bring this deep inner change, they work as powerful forces that mirror your own mind. They push you to face and accept every part of yourself, including the hidden darker shadows.
During these days, the best approach is to stop judging yourself. Don't treat your practice like a chore. If you're chanting, that's great; if your mind wanders, accept that too. Trying to force control only creates tension. When an emotion surfaces, don't rush to change it. Keep your body light, eat simple foods, speak less, and save your energy. Staying aware without chasing every thought is the real point of this time.
You don't need to ask the Mother for anything massive or miraculous. A simple sentiment is enough:
"Whatever isn't necessary for my growth, let it gradually fall away." This simplicity is what makes the sadhana work.
Om Sri Matraye Namah 🙏
Major cheat code for life: Make peace with being unimpressive to the outside world. Drive the normal car. Wear the simple clothes. Live below your means. Stay in the committed relationship. The ability to look ordinary while building an extraordinary life is wildly underrated.

A lot of feminist women are living this life. A lot of feminist women actively want an equal partner and children. There are literally no men who inspire confidence in us any more for us to put ourselves through marriage and pregnancy. Ask women. Listen to women. It’s a shitshow. Men are simply in denial. Feminism didn’t take anything away from men or the idea of building a family, shitty men did. Lying, cheating, abusive, manipulative men convinced women to give up on the thought of being happy with men.
Shocking development, 🇮🇳INDIA just dropped a Nuclear Bomb on 🇨🇳China’s RARE EARTH EMPIRE !
🇨🇳China: “India, you’re finished! We own 94% of rare earth magnets. One ban and your EVs are DEAD!
🇮🇳India: “Wrong! Our tiny $5M startup just invented a crazy motor with ZERO rare earths! Pure software magic!
🇨🇳China: “Lies! Every big company failed for 10 years!”
🇮🇳India: “We got the patent! Prototypes running hot, car makers testing it RIGHT NOW, shipping THIS YEAR!
🇨🇳China: “Impossible… you can’t beat us!”
🇮🇳India: “Too late! Your monopoly is DEAD.
Context: Indian startup secured a patent for a rare earth-free electric motor platform that replaces permanent magnets with software-controlled magnetic fields.

Oil industry workers are on strike in Norway, Norwegian oil service workers have cut production by 2.4 million barrels of oil equivalent, Norway offshore strike is now costing the industry over $50m a week.
Yet you are speaking for Cockroach Janta Party in India rather than amplifying the voices of protest in your own country. Hypocrisy what?? :)
In the early 1970s, a middle-aged civil construction contractor stands on the bustling docks of Cochin, Kerala, watching massive crates of raw black pepper & cardamom being loaded onto ships bound for Europe & America.
His name is Cherian Varkey Jacob. He is not a scientist/a corporate industrialist/an elite MBA graduate. He is a man who spent 2 decades dealing in concrete, bricks & infrastructure pipelines. But as he watches those ships sail away, his mathematical mind recognizes a systemic economic tragedy that has bled his homeland for centuries.
For 1000s of years, the world came to the Malabar Coast for raw spices. Western MNCs bought these raw agricultural commodities for pennies, shipped them to advanced labs in Europe, extracted the highly valuable volatile essential oils & flavor compounds & sold them back to global food giants at astronomical markups. India was treated as a low-value farming backyard, while the real wealth was captured by Western chemistry.
During a business expo trip to Japan, Jacob sees spices presented in a way he had never witnessed in India: converted into highly concentrated, standardized liquid extracts called oleoresins. The revelation hits him like a lightning bolt.
Why should India just export raw dirt & seeds when we can export the pure, scientific essence of the spice ourselves?
Determined to flip the colonial trade dynamic on its head, the construction contractor resolves to risk his entire life’s savings to build a state of the art chemical extraction plant. His friends & family think he has completely lost his mind, he knows how to mix cement, not volatile organic molecules.
In 1972, Jacob incorporates Synthite Industrial Chemicals in the sleepy, rural village of Kolenchery, Kerala. He begins with just 20 employees & a licensing agreement for an experimental extraction tech developed by the CFTRI Mysore.
But when he turns on the machines, the reality of industrial chemistry hits back brutally:
The lab-scale tech fails miserably at industrial volumes. Traditional solvent extraction burns off the delicate top-note aromas, producing bitter, scorched residue instead of clean flavor.
Instead of giving up, Jacob pours yrs into R&D. Working with young Indian chemists, he fine tunes temperatures, pressures & processes until they develop reliable methods to preserve the full aroma profile, what the company would later brand as “Cold Crafting.”
Winning global trust is even harder. International giants like Nestlé & Unilever are skeptical of a tiny unknown player from rural Kerala. It takes persistent sampling, quality audits & yrs of proving consistency before the big break finally comes.
The construction contractor’s stubborn refusal to quit fundamentally rewrote the geopolitics of taste. Once global food manufacturers realize that Synthite’s liquid extracts are cheaper, chemically standardized & completely clear of the biological contaminants found in raw whole spices, the gates open completely.
From a small shed with 20 workers, Synthite grew into 1 of India’s most successful value-added spice extract companies, a pioneer that helped shift parts of the global flavor industry back toward the Malabar Coast, the very soil where the spices originated.
Today, Synthite is among the world’s largest producers of spice oleoresins, exporting to 90+ countries & quietly flavoring everything from snacks & beverages to perfumes & pharmas across the planet.
C.V. Jacob proved that a practical Kerala contractor with vision could take on centuries of unequal trade & win.
Now, Supreme Court judges are terming childhood as 'age of sexual experimentation', and chiding parents of the girl for "misusing" POCSO for their "honour" - in a case where an under-15 girl eloped with a 25-year-old man and was impregnated
When age of consent is 18, they are treating under-15 girls' elopement and pregnancy as teen experimentation. What will happen when age is lowered to 16?
They are practically clearing the ground for complete parental silence when 13-year-old daughters elope and get impregnated
We have put up a strong fight in Supreme Court against diluting POCSO so far
Under inspiration from @KanoongoPriyank, guidance of @SanjeevSanskrit, @sewanyaya and @NetworkforJus have enabled dozens of intervention petitions against any attempt to dilute POCSO, including by anti-trafficking activists and victims of abuse
This is probably why the matter of diluting POCSO is not coming up for hearing. But clearly, ground is being prepared
We have to collectively fight it. Else prepare for elopement and pregnancy in schools to be the new normal

The doctor in the post claims she was "inspired by swimming in the ocean" to invent a "sinus power wash treatment" using pressurized saline.
In reality, she did not invent a single thing. She just mechanized Jala Neti, a foundational practice of the ancient Indian knowledge system that is 1000s yrs old.
Long before Western medicine understood the concept of sinus congestion, the Hatha Yoga Pradipika & the Gheranda Samhita (ancient texts on physiology & yoga) outlined the Shatkarmas: the 6 purification techniques designed to cleanse the body's internal channels.
1 of these primary cleansers is Neti. The texts describe 2 types:
- Sutra Neti: Using a soft thread passed through the nose & out the mouth to physically clear the nasal tract.
- Jala Neti: Using a custom vessel (a Neti Pot) to pour lukewarm, salted water (isotonic saline) into one nostril, allowing gravity to pull it through the sinus cavities & out the other nostril.
When the West 1st encountered the Neti pot, it was dismissed by mainstream doctors as a primitive folk ritual. But over the last few decades, Western otolaryngology (ENT) conducted clinical trials & suddenly realized the ancient rishis were brilliant biochemists.
Here is how it works: The inside of our sinuses is lined with microscopic, hair-like structures called cilia that wave back & forth to push out dust, bacteria & excess mucus. When we are congested, the cilia get bogged down & stop moving. Saline water restores their fluid dynamics & increases their "ciliary beat frequency," allowing the body to naturally flush out pathogens.
This is a recurring pattern where ancient Indian empirical knowledge is stripped of its cultural roots, repackaged & commercialized in the West: Turmeric becomes a patented "Curcumin Golden Latte." Ashwagandha becomes an "Adaptogenic Cortisol-Lowering Serum." Pranayama becomes "Box Breathing" taught by Navy SEALs. Jala Neti becomes a "Sinus Power Wash Treatment" priced at a premium clinic rate :))

An @NDTV investigation by @tejshreethought:
Her name is Malavath Poorna.
She was thirteen years old, the daughter of two farm labourers from a small tribal village in Telangana. In her world, girls like her were pulled out of school and married off before they grew up. Instead, she climbed to the highest point on the planet.
She was born in Pakala, a village so small and so poor that a girl dreaming of anything beyond marriage was almost unheard of.
Her parents worked in other people's fields. But her father did one thing that changed everything. He sent her to a government school for poor and tribal children, instead of keeping her home.
At that school, a programme was started to take children from the poorest backgrounds and train them to climb mountains.
Poorna, who had never seen a real mountain in her life, was chosen. She was sent to train on ice and rock, in cold far below anything her village had ever known.
Then, on 25 May 2014, at the age of thirteen, she stood on the summit of Mount Everest.
She became the youngest girl in the entire world ever to climb the highest mountain on Earth. A tribal girl whose family tilled other people's land had gone higher than almost every human being alive.
When people asked her why she did it, her answer was simple. She wanted to prove that girls could do anything.
She did not stop at Everest. In the years that followed, she went on to climb the highest peak on every single continent.
The girl who was supposed to vanish quietly into a village marriage instead planted her country's flag on the roof of the world.
This is exactly the reason, when I always keep advising through my posts, don't bring a child in to this world, if your marriage is not working..who is Responsible now..
Just imagine the mental trauma of the child 🥺🥺🥺
