Conversion therapy, despite what the Queen’s Speech said, won’t be banned. Trans conversion therapy isn’t included, nor is any conversion therapy if the victim “consents” - which is a misunderstanding of the reality. Most people “consent” but under pressure. So this isn’t a ban.

Govt puts down a ban on gay CT. Labour adds an amendment including trans CT. Conservative Party then forces Labour to 'own' trans issues, including messy questions about whether a woman has a penis etc. Labour gets stuck.
