“Judeo-Christian” never meant “combined corpus of Old and New Testaments,” that is what we call “The Bible.”

The term Judeo-Christian originally meant a Jew who had converted to Christianity, sometimes called a Messianic Jew.

But after World War II the term was popularised by politicians in an attempt to garner sympathy from Christians towards Jews to form the post-WWII liberal consensus. The myth was that Christians and Jews share values, which is a red herring.

Now, the term is hijacked by Christian Zionists to convince Christians they owe some kind of debt to Israel, which undermines the fact Christ paid all our debts, and it ends up diluting the truth of Christianity and leading people into the heresy of pluralism.

We don’t want to throw endless stones at the couple who aborted their Down syndrome child. None of us are without sin.

The problem is of course that they’re presenting the sin as a moral choice that 90% of people would make, and they’re even asking for sympathy (not for the poor deceased child, but for themselves).

They also keep repeating their goal of quickly replacing the child with a healthier and more valued family member.

This makes it incumbent on people to push back on their public promotion of eugenics.
