🇫🇷 1st European prediction markets meetup happened in Paris, where they're banned.

Some learnings & comments:

🗣️ Distribution and liquidity are the moat, not TECH.
📈Many traders are sports bettors who found a better product.
⚖️And Europe's regulatory chill is real: speakers at the event had to present in French because sponsors were nervous.

⏳The markets are here, but Europe just risks adopting them late...again.
