#bbcgms has to be a singalong version of always look on the bright side of life. I want people to have fun and not take themselves or me too seriously! Thos p Inverness
I've written to ask the Government to consider bringing fusion energy to the Dounreay nuclear site.
We have a highly skilled workforce and a licensed site.
Fusion has huge potential, I'd like to see the Government capitalise on it - for the country and for Caithness!

It’s incredibly disappointing that the Scottish Government continues to stand by its broken FAI system.
Between the deaths of Ms Bell and Mr Yuill and the completion of this FAI nearly 9 years have passed.
It is simply unforgivable to leave families without answers for so long.
Everyone knows these Highland seats are going to be a straight fight between the Liberal Democrats and the SNP.
People deserve a local champion who will stand up on the issues that matter, and they will find that in local Liberal Democrats Angus MacDonald and Jamie Stone.
Why has @EdwardJDavey got such a zeal for the unusual photo-op? Inspired by @willie_rennie, the "Rory McIlroy of the political stunt," there is more to it than just having fun. Read my take in @scotonsunday#GeneralElection2024 https://t.co/RlLNz2BWoe
A stunning revival for @scotlibdems, in #InvernessSouth. In the history of the ward we’ve never overtaken the SNP, even when it had a LibDem MP. Game on for @angusmacdlibdem at the GE.

Yesterday could have been an opportunity to push the Govt, who has the ear of Netanyahu and Biden to push them to have a resolution for the people of Palestine and Israel.
But instead everyone was playing party politics with Palestinian lives.
It was distasteful and sickening.
@RestIsPolitics@RoryStewartUK@campbellclaret Are ministers responsible if misinformed by civil servants or government agencies etc? Could ministers have stepped in earlier in the post office affair - they were clearly advised not to.
Humza Yousaf’s personal promise to clear mental health waiting lists by last March wasn’t worth the paper it was written on.
Scotland deserves a world-beating system that will tackle the mental health emergency and help people get on in life.
The violence unfolding in Israel and Palestine has caused - and continues to cause - unimaginable grief.
Layla speaks for us all when she says, "The people of Israel and Palestine have a right to live free from fear."
