@Jonnywsbell Few are brave enough to talk about Trans Widows. They experience something akin to a husband's death but worse. They're coerced to stay in the relationship, told they're Lesbians, all while the spouse mimics them. These husbands often end up being AGPs masking themselves as Trans
@DavidJHarrisJr Good. After Covid lockdowns, I was briefly enrolled in SNAPs until hours picked up. I didn't reenroll. These programs are designed to be temporary and on a NEED basis, to get you back on your feet. If you got enough money to send overseas then it's not assistance. It's income.
@Rothmus Collectivism caused China's Great Famine. Since Communism sees land as EVERYONE'S land, farmers who owned it were kicked out. Well. Someone still needed to work to FEED ppl so they put an academic hotshot in charge. Long story short: crops died, mass starvation, human cannibalism
@DeepLeaksHQ This hits home. My dad's retired. My city used to provide a program helping retired fixed-income elders keep their homes. He was the last to be accepted. My city gutted the program. Why? To allocate funds to pay for housing for illegals. Among the illegals my city had housed? TdA
@Mick_O_Keeffe True Diversity is letting everyone cook at home and bring their personal favorite plate to the family get-together. Multiculturalism, on the other hand, is everyone bringing the exact same salad dish from the same chained restaurant using the same standardized menu.
@mattvanswol One word: drones. Months back, there was a convoy of trucks (from Tehran, I think?) that was on their way to send 'aid' to Iran. But everyone suspected they were carrying drones in their trailers. Don't know if they got intercepted but IRGC has many drone factories outside Iran.
@TheLaurenChen My issue with having the 10 Commandments in the class is it also allows activist teachers to now legally put the Quran in the classroom too. And you can bet they'll use this playbook against opposition by saying 'putting the Quran in schools isn't forcing religion on anyone'.
@BManta66@pureMetatron You're using a fundamentally different analogy. A better analogy would've been the Machine Age, the era of post-WW2. Even so, the GI Generation never said "Our Machine Age is collapsing" since they thought the factory-boom would last forever.
@depressionlesss Annoying seeing ppl here gripe about a horse being left behind. They likely had other animals to help first. It's reasonable they got the horse last since its height kept it above water long enough. Fence kept it in place too, preventing it from fleeing outta panic, getting lost.
@nicksortor This sets a dangerous precedence. When Dems take over again (and they will since Republicans have been pathetically complacent with midterms), then what's to stop a Democrat-run administration from arresting US citizens over memes the UK finds offensive?
@nicksortor I'm no fan of Tates but I'm also no fan of UK's current judicial system where citizens get arrested for memes, yet grooming gangs get a wrist slap. That alone undermines their laws. I also don't like the US arresting citizens on behalf of another country w/o due process
