Very few people are aware of the level of complexity involved in raising capital through US-based VCs when you are located outside of the US. Delaware C-corps, subsidiaries, Section 83(b), term sheets, shares allocation, EIN's... you get the point. There are 100% chances that I will mess something up. 😆

Whenever you ask an “AI” for a solution to a problem or to do something, the response will be given from a particular angle, not all angles.

By default, an LLM gives you a “good enough, common-case answer”, not a multi-disciplinary, optimized solution.

No source memory — knows facts but not whether they came from a textbook or a Reddit comment
No knowledge boundaries — can't reliably say "I know a lot about X but nothing about Y," so it speaks with equal confidence on both
No real belief revision — when corrected it generates new tokens that account for your input, but nothing internal actually changed

Things that are missing from current AI models that we barely think about...

⏳ TEMPORAL

No internal clock — doesn't know if your last chat was 5 seconds or 5 months ago
No continuity between calls — between requests, it doesn't exist
No long-term learning — your 500th conversation uses the exact same frozen weights as your 1st

These models have no relationship with time. ⤵️

No goal persistence — can't hold an objective across conversations without being re-prompted
No real triage — can't weigh time pressure, politics, resources, and debt simultaneously like an experienced operator
No initiative — purely reactive, will never raise a concern or volunteer information unprompted
No environmental awareness — can't sense weather, markets, news, or anything you don't explicitly provide
No tool improvisation — uses what it's given, can't creatively repurpose or discover new tools
