I don’t understand the whole “I wish we would’ve known what we were signing up for” mentality around the adaptation because jacob has made it VERY clear from the start he wants to make the most faithful adaptation of the books possible. The entire point of the Skip episode is because you can’t faithfully adapt HR without that context.

Season two is the exact same?? It is IMPOSSIBLE to adapt tlg as faithfully as jacob wants to without the other characters involved. So I’m just really confused by the “I wish we would’ve known” argument because if you actually paid attention to what Jacob has said AND the fact that this is an adaptation of a series of interconnected books, none of this should be a surprise???
