🥼 Figured out a plausible mechanism for precursor synchronicities. These are odd improbabilities that tend to show up in the hours to days before a precarious situation where your personal probable futures strongly diverge.

Simple example: in 48 hours a major problem is going to land in your lap at work. How you handle it could get you fired or get you promoted. The two paths lead to very different futures.

Maxwell’s Equations are time-symmetric. This means they support both forward-time (retarded) & backward-time (advanced) solutions. Same holds for the deBroglie-Bohm pilot-wave guidance equation, which describes how the quantum wave function “pulls” particles & quantum systems toward certain outcomes.

I have good reason to believe that matter waves, Bohmian pilot waves, deBroglie waves, etc. are irrotational electromagnetic potentials, and their underlying equations are time-symmetric & therefore admit advanced waves.

[Though in practice, they’re not fully symmetric as the normal fluid fraction (η) of the vacuum aether creates an arrow to time due to being the mediator of entropy, so the future-to-past feedback is only partial & varies with local η conditions such as specific times, places, or people].

Each probable future still genuinely up in the air therefore sends an advanced potential backward in linear time. These advanced potentials from the competing futures interfere with each other in the present, same way waves from the two slits interfere spatially in the double-slit experiment.

The interference creates a beat-wave pattern in the quantum potential in the present, which biases your trajectory through the tapestry of probable futures. That is what the quantum potential does. Here it’s being modified by wave interference from the future.

Because the bias is coherent, it doesn’t average out but adds constructively across many microscopic timeline bifurcations that are still open (not yet observed, collapsed, thermalized, etc).

The result is a subtle directed tilting of probabilities that steers the present toward configurations consistent with the dominant future. That coherent bias is what surfaces as a precursor synchronicity.

The synch feels meaningful because the advanced potential carries the actual “flavor” & structure of the impending situation, not just raw or random probability-nudging.

The improbability that appears is therefore pointed, i.e. a fragment of the future leaking backward & coloring the present in a way that may fit what’s coming.

The signal is strongest when the futures are most balanced & high-stakes, like a genuine coin-flip with real consequences. So once one future clearly locks in (by having happened, or becoming almost totally inevitable) and the others fade, the interference cross-term collapses & the synchronicities go quiet, even if the actual event is still days away in some cases. It’s also why barely anything synchronistic happens when your life is on a straight boring track, as the future is nearly singular (hence no beat waves) instead of strongly diverging.

Precursor synchs often act like warnings, giving you a heads-up to course-correct, but only while the outcome is still malleable. Once the future becomes nearly inevitable, the advanced interference fades because there is no strong competing future left to interfere with.

From our perspective the improbability feels like the universe is winking at us, or our local reality is reacting to an impending disturbance in the timeline. A random conversation snippet, a book title, a weird omen… all improbably arranged to be noticed.

In reality it’s not always an external force directly rewriting the past. [It can be, as our probable future tapestry is a spatial object to beings outside linear time (including the higher self) and they can manually inject probability nudges to amplify certain branches/threads over others to induce directed “message synchs” that way.]

In the case of simple precursor synchs, however, these would be caused by your own probable futures reaching backward via advanced potentials & subtly shaping which adjacent timeline thread you experience: the one with the synch, the one without, the one with a different synch, etc. – all of which are consistent with your remembered history & allowed by the rules of quantum physics, just that some threads are weirder than others.

The process is fuzzy & probabilistic, so more of an “open spacelike bundle” than Relativity’s “closed timelike curves (CTCs)”.

Thus if you catch the synch while the conflicting futures are still up in the air & you change trajectory, you can shift onto a different thread. The old future then loses its grip & the new one takes over.

In the screenshot below, Steiner says that modern science only focuses on the mechanics of physical things, not the conscious forces that set them into motion in the first place.

So while consciousness underlies everything, this ground of being projects two domains:

{deterministic, mechanical, mathematical} phenomena
AND
{nondeterministic, spiritual, metaphysical} being

The first is passive sleeping consciousness, the latter active living consciousness. The dream & the dreamer. Frozen thought & thinker.

Each domain (with its numerous subdomains) is its own ontology, having its own rules, processes, and history.

This means you can’t use math equations to figure out karma, lessons, love, or enlightenment. But neither can you use spiritual laws to derive the equations of a physical system.

And yet, the mechanical side of existence serves the metaphysical side. It provides the environment, props, and bodies for the story of spirit. Passive is subordinate to the active.

A common misconception is that occult phenomena like the etheric body & plane, the tunnel seen during many NDEs, astral projection, telekinesis, other realms, or the transparency of ghosts are all “spiritual” things.

But these are mechanics, not metaphysics. They’re not spiritual in the sense of the divine will or the meaning of life. They’re phenomena with rules that govern the nature & behavior of substance & form.

That means it’s possible to extend science beyond the material realm, to understand with mathematical precision the nature of the etheric & astral planes, other realms, observations of paranormal phenomena, etc.

Whatever is within the domain of mechanics, even if nonphysical, can in theory be understood, measured, even engineered & manipulated.

And doing so does NOT replace metaphysics.

Materialists want to reduce everything spiritual to physical explanations, but that isn’t what I’m talking about here.

I’m talking about reclaiming what has been misattributed to the spiritual domain, to free up the latter & thereby reveal what matters most as first causes, while also sharpening our understanding of what is within our power & perhaps cosmic duty to master in terms of mechanics.

The energy ports on your aura are regulated by the subconscious, really the higher mind or higher self.

So you have to intend/command/instruct that part of you to shield it, reflect all feeding attempts, retain energy.

This can be done through visualization, a mudra, affirmation, or non-verbal intent (the most direct).

If you were clairvoyant enough to where you can see and manipulate etheric energy directly then sure you could dodge the tentacles or shield yourself in more sophisticated ways.

But that aside, the important thing is the intention of resistance, shielding, and saying “no” to energy harvesting in way where you really mean it.

This engages the source of will that isn’t just at the superficial brain level, but further up the column/stack of your composite being.

Of course, if you compromise yourself karmically/energetically then that intention won’t do much as you already freely opened the door, e.g. sex with an energy vampire or getting baited into a fight with them.

A MIT student figured out how to compress an entire semester of lecture content into one 90-minute study session.

He calls it "context stacking," and it's the most unfair thing I've seen done with NotebookLM.

I asked him to walk me through it. He did. I haven't studied the same way since.

Here's exactly what he does.

Two days before each lecture, he uploads everything into NotebookLM. The assigned readings, the previous week's slides, 3 or 4 related papers he finds himself, and any problem sets that are still open.

Most students wait for the lecture to explain the material. He walks in having already built a mental model of it.

That's step one. But it's not the move that makes it unfair.

The first prompt he runs across all of it:

"What are the 5 core concepts this week's content is built on, and how do they connect to what I studied last week?"

Not summarize. Not define. Connect.

NotebookLM pulls threads across everything he uploaded simultaneously. It surfaces relationships between ideas that would take a normal student weeks of review to notice. He gets that map before the lecture even starts.

Then he runs the prompt that does most of the work.

"What would I need to genuinely understand about this material to be able to teach it to someone with zero background in this subject?"

That question is doing something most students never force themselves to do. It exposes exactly where his understanding is solid and exactly where it's hollow. The gaps show up immediately, and he spends the rest of the 90 minutes filling only those gaps.

Not reviewing what he already knows. Only fixing what he doesn't.

The final prompt is the one that separates context stacking from every other study method I've heard of.

"What question could a professor ask about this material that would expose a student who understood the surface but missed the underlying logic?"

He's not studying for the exam he expects. He's studying for the exam designed to catch people who only think they understood it.

By the time he sits in the lecture hall, the professor is not teaching him anything new. The professor is confirming what he already mapped, filling in a few details, and occasionally surprising him with something he didn't anticipate.

That surprise is the only thing he writes down.

Most students leave a lecture hoping the material will eventually click.

He walks in with it already clicked, and uses the lecture to find out what he missed.

That's not a study hack. That's a completely different relationship with learning.
