if Haaland grew up in the US he’d make hundreds of millions of dollars as a tight end- probably more than he’ll ever make playing soccer. Recruiters would have seen him in middle school and that woulda been in. Also If you grow up seeing NBA, MLB and NFL salaries there’s not much incentive to play for like 300k in europe
