Officials in upstate New York are demanding an investigation into the death of a refugee who was found dead in Buffalo this week, after being released from the custody of U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Nurul Amin Shah Alam, 56, suffered from various medical conditions, including visual impairment, with his attorney describing him as nearly blind and unable to speak English.
Border Patrol agents briefly took Alam into their custody after he was released by the Erie County Sheriff's Office, where he had been held on assault and weapons charges tied to an incident last year.
After discovering he was not subject to immigration arrest or deportation because he was in the U.S. as a legal and lawful refugee, agents dropped him off at a local coffee shop near his last known address, DHS said. He was found several days later.@camiloreports has more.

Thank you President Trump for keeping your promise to give Israel the tools it needs to defend itself, to confront our common enemies and to secure a future of peace and prosperity"

Hi @VOANews@VOADirector ,
We, the Rohingya, demand a thorough investigation into the staffers of @VOABurmese. Please hire an independent translation service to review all their news coverage regarding the Rohingya. You will find evidence of bias, racism, and Islamophobia.
If the UAE is destroyed in the future by a natural calamity or by the outsider, I will not shed a single tear. I have never seen a single UAE citizen opposing their government's Islamophobic actions and those of their supporters over the last 12 years. Sixty years ago, they were so poor that they dug into ant holes to find wheat to eat. Allah blessed them with natural resources, and they became rich, but they utilize that wealth to work against Islam and Muslims. Allah's curse upon them is near!
Elon Musk needs to be stopped.
After he fanned the flames of racial division in the UK last summer, I warned that he was one of the most dangerous men on the planet.
Armed with billions and driven by hatred, it is time we confront Musk's hateful rhetoric, not pander to it.
