Was talking to a friend today about how seemingly the majority of natives I meet with tattoos are hellbent on only getting tatted by indigenous artists. Which is dope! But I feel like there are so many incredible tattoo artists out there. Why limit yourself?

Got approached awhile back by another artist friend and he asked me if my tattoo artists were indigenous. I told him only one so far. Then he proceeded to to gloat about how all of his tattoos were from native artists. I was like:

This lady saw my violin in hand at the airport and asked me what I was traveling for. I said I was gonna perform fiddle for puppets. She laughed her ass off, patted my shoulder, and walked away.
